Pros and cons of CPST!

I would like to start by saying that I am a certified child safety specialist. I have installed many child seats in different cars and I really like this seat. Here's why: BENEFITS: -Easy to install. This car seat is very light and in my experience lighter seats are much easier to install properly. You can squeeze it easily when you tighten it. Bulky car seats, especially those with thick and heavy bases, are more difficult to install and require a bit more time/energy. For the obvious reason. Easy to transport from car to car and ideal for traveling with size/weight restrictions. This is a convertible seat, meaning it can be rear and front facing. This seat is rear facing up to 40 pounds and 40 inches (the height of an average 4 year old). The American Pediatrics Association recommends rear-facing seats until at least age 2, but as close to age 4 as possible. It's also now illegal in some states to flip a front-facing child up to the age of 2 GREAT if you have an unusually large child (like me) Price This is a seat that most people will use for their entire 6 year life can use. Of course, all children are so different. It might not be for everyone, but it's definitely a good investment. Usually less than $100 are high lower anchor limits. If you're like me, you like to install with lower anchors. They're no safer than installing straps, but I'm just better off installing this way, so it's probably safer in this case. Most seats have a lower anchor weight limit of 45 pounds, this seat has a 55 pound limit. - Comfortable. This seat very spacious, both rear and forward, it's comfortable. I took off a star for two things Evenflo should update about this seat. - The seat belts are tight together. That's frustrating because not only does this seat not come with seat belt covers (you can get them through Evenflo, but you definitely can't use an aftermarket product that hasn't been tested with the seat), but they're mounted very close together. This is normal in the colder seasons as there is usually fabric to protect small necks. But in the summer my 4 year old daughter gets up from her seat with red spots on her neck. If that really bothers you, contact Evenflo and order a kit for that particular seat. The design of this harness allows you to loosen one strap while keeping the other tight. This makes it difficult to keep the straps the same length for a secure attachment. After you've done this a few times, it will get easier. But it's a bit annoying. The last 2 things are not a deal breaker. This seat is great! We have a spare and a head office in one of our vehicles and it suits me just fine! I have attached 2 photos. One is my LO facing backwards in SureRide and the other is newer when she's sitting in them facing forward.
