Type of review

I bought this car seat for travel as compared to our Grace 4Ever (which I love for love everyday use) is easier to use). use). It's a bit ugly, I thought when I first opened it (Sugar Plum fabric) but when I saw that it had to be carried on the back I was over it. We also used it on the plane. We just had to tilt the seat a bit and put a jacket or something behind it; otherwise the child would sit too upright. A couple of issues I had with this car seat: When I first flipped the leg (for rear…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Not bad at all: A few quirks

We bought this chair for my 1 year old daughter to replace her travel system. Our main car seat Chicco NextFit. We wanted to use it in my husband's pickup and use it when we fly for our rental cars (we fly about 3 times a year to visit family and rent a car). So we were looking for something lightweight, easy to install and not too bulky. I don't like this car seat, although it meets our requirements. When I went to install it in our Toyota Tacoma, the plastic rocker bar doesn't sit on the seat

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Annoying

Great car seat: Booster

In the introduction to this review I would like to say that I have a compact car (Ford Focus, for the curious). I now also have two of them on the back seat (in the direction of travel). First the advantages: - Incredibly easy installation and removal. When I drop my daughters off with their nanny, I also have to get out of the car seats. I need a maximum of 3-5 minutes to remove both car seats. Reassembly takes a little longer, around 7-10 minutes, but only because I get in the car to put…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

This car seat is great when it's on and baby is in it, but it's hard to get them to do that. We have a couple of these for our twins. We're obviously very happy with the price and the fact that Consumer Reports gave it the highest safety rating (along with the other three recommended models). And they fit perfectly in our rear-facing Rav4. But we're surprised at how difficult it is to use the seats. As other reviews point out, getting the right seats is very difficult. I am not at all surprised

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Pros and cons of CPST!

I would like to start by saying that I am a certified child safety specialist. I have installed many child seats in different cars and I really like this seat. Here's why: BENEFITS: -Easy to install. This car seat is very light and in my experience lighter seats are much easier to install properly. You can squeeze it easily when you tighten it. Bulky car seats, especially those with thick and heavy bases, are more difficult to install and require a bit more time/energy. For the obvious reason…

Pros
  • Good cause
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
