Review on 🌸 Evenflo SureRide DLX Convertible Car Seat in Sugar Plum: Safety and Comfort in Style by Lisa Perez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great car seat: Booster

In the introduction to this review I would like to say that I have a compact car (Ford Focus, for the curious). I now also have two of them on the back seat (in the direction of travel). First the advantages: - Incredibly easy installation and removal. When I drop my daughters off with their nanny, I also have to get out of the car seats. I need a maximum of 3-5 minutes to remove both car seats. Reassembly takes a little longer, around 7-10 minutes, but only because I get in the car to put weight on both car seats to tighten them precisely. - It's comfortable and comes right out of my 4 year old's mouth. Her old car seat (Model Safety 1st) felt incredibly stiff and the straps kept sagging. This car seat is much better. I was driving from the east coast to the west coast and she was very happy in her car seat and fell asleep. Adjusting and replacing the strap (if you had one before the recall) is very easy. If you have trouble with uncomfortable straps, I highly recommend purchasing strap covers. There are also pink ones that match this car seat! - lungs. I am listing this as a pro because I often have to remove and carry these car seats when I drop my kids off. I can wear both with no problem. It's actually an incredibly cute design. Cons: The old straps that came with this car seat before the recall had an issue that caused them to come loose or the buckles to get stuck. Don't worry - this model comes with new straps and Evenflo will send you a replacement free of charge if you have a strap prior to the recall. Bulky. While I can fit two of them in the back seat, they gobble up my back seat. Luckily I only have two children and don't need the middle seat. I can still slip a diaper bag and/or purse between the seats and it works fine. However, due to the bulkiness, I think installing a rear-facing car seat can be an issue. My car is compact, so I mostly pick it up. If there are any problems, I will correct my rating. I've had one of these for almost a year and the second for a week with no glitches.
