Overall a solid product. I use mine with a pluggable 7-port USB 3.0 hub. One monitor to HDMI laptop, two monitors to these adapters to the hub. Works great with very light CPU load on my i7 processor. All monitors work with a resolution of 1920x1080. When playing 1080p video, the quality is fine for a single video on a monitor connected to the adapter. The two videos are still okay, but sometimes they get a bit choppy. Also, the CPU usage increases to about 20%. Not necessarily the adapter's fault. HD video consumes CPU no matter what. Comfort at work is part of the equation, so high CPU usage is not desirable. Everything is perfect with my 3 monitor setup. My guess is that adding more adapters will require more CPU and then the fan will turn on more frequently. However, if you're just doing office work, you'll probably get by with up to 5-6 adapters and keep your CPU usage low enough. I wouldn't try more unless you have a really good computer with a high-performance processor, multiple USB 3.0 buses, etc., and you don't mind the possibility of more fan noise. I would buy this product again. Highly recommended.
