Review on Super Junior Opening Wilton 63244 SBV 65 by Jason Childs

I bought this vise hoping to satisfy my desire for a 2 inch bullet. God I was wrong. After five minutes of fiddling with this vise out of the box it turned out that they were of lesser quality than I could have been. The vise was so difficult to open that it took full effort to turn the handle, it jammed in several places, and generally seemed poorly made. Remnants of the machining process are left in the vise, nut, screw and dynamic jaw. The rotating base is also poor as there is no centering pin to keep it in alignment, it will twist left or right when trying to rotate inclined which is limited If you are not a picky tool user or have never used a quality American made Wilton vise then this vise may be good enough for you, however if you have experience with quality tools and equipment , and premium quality from this unit expect, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. I know exactly what it was. It was immediately packed and sent back. I gave it two stars because I have seen and used the worst vise and my experience may be biased given my high expectations of Wilton. At least it wasn't Chinese junk.
