Bought these for an elderly friend to use during storms and safely in her home. She loved the candles for about 6 months. She liked the size, color and that they lasted a long time. They just didn't work correctly after the batteries were replaced. You have to hold them (squeeze them) to get the connection. The replacement batteries are new therefore, it doesn't appear this is where the problem lies. Since this feature doesn't work we are trying to decide on purchasing all over again (wasting all the resources and adding to the trash in the world) or going with another product. It's too bad because this would be a wonderful product to have at home for longer than 6 months.
