I'm always looking for the perfect digiscoping adapter. Looks like it will be a cat meow for digiscoping. But for me it wasn't. The eyepiece grips did not open wide enough for the Vortex Viper eyepiece to fit. I was able to put it on the eyepiece by rocking it back and forth, but when I took it off the rubber protectors came loose. And even though it was on the Vortex eyepiece, it just wasn't mounted securely enough to make the necessary adjustments for photography. The whole block is plastic. Somewhat hard plastic, but flexible plastic nonetheless. This meant that each time the camera was mounted it was in a slightly different position than the Viper's eyepiece; and necessary adjustments. Adaptation is not easy. . . this is never the case with Digiscope adapters. . ... but this one was worse than the others. So I wrapped it up and sent it back. Revain facilitates returns when needed. I don't generally return many items. But I had to return to this purchase. It's either that or hide it and eventually forget where I hid it. Sorry Carson HookAps. I did my best.
