Review on Dorman 911 074 Vapor Canister Solenoid by Pedro Curtis

Very easy installation, with just a hose and an electrical connection, it only took a couple of hose clamp pliers and it only took a few minutes. PLEASE NOTE: When installed with this replacement in warm/hot weather, the hose may contain fuel vapors and be pressurized! Ensure safety protocols are followed, work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, wear safety goggles and ensure no one is smoking, no open flames are present and no sparks can occur nearby while you to do this. Bought to hopefully fix the check engine light on my '99 GMC Sonoma (AKA S-10) (DTC P0446). I've since cleaned up the code on my computer, but I'm not sure if that will fix the problem for at least a few days. The mounting bracket is a little tight, but be patient and apply pressure and it will slip!
