Car phone holder New Beetle dream fit

2000 VW NB. After pulling out the shifter cover and looking under the seats, I removed the cover on the right side of the passenger seat handle (the one above the glove box). Eureka! A large, solid bolt bolted to a metal bolt. The one that secures the left side of this handle. I just sanded a small piece of metal on one side of the fork on the Arkon mount to better center the mounting plate on the stud. I adjusted the angle of the gooseneck to the nearest adjustment hole to be a little more angled towards the rider. (Arkon gets bonus points for his pre-drilled holes) I honestly can't think of a better place. It does not affect the operation of any controller. With my HTC EVO I have a car navigation system that is easy to read at a glance. is also the perfect spot for one-handed operation of the phone, with my right hand resting comfortably on the armrest. I strongly believe that this mount will reduce accidents as you don't have to search for your phone or use two hands to use it. I believe this should be mandatory equipment for all drivers using mobile phones. I also haven't forgotten my phone since installing it as the blank stand is right here to remind you. I threw away the plastic gooseneck hose as the metal is smaller in diameter and cosmetically clean. It is also necessary to cut the rear underside of the plastic cover that hides the mounting screw. VW did a great job with this part as it can be easily removed and replaced and doesn't have flimsy plastic grommets. For the first time in my life since I had a cell phone, driver, car and phone became one.
