Ordered for my Ford Flex. It fits perfectly and is the perfect height. There was a large plastic plug at the end of the seat rail. Undressing was the hardest part. It does not turn on when the floor mount is attached. A 1/2 inch socket wrench was required to remove the seat bolt. It came out easy enough. The washer on the screw was attached to the head so the 'pin' on the floor mount went underneath. After dressing it was obvious. that it fits perfectly. The shaft is aluminum so don't expect it

2000 VW NB. After pulling out the shifter cover and looking under the seats, I removed the cover on the right side of the passenger seat handle (the one above the glove box). Eureka!
