I've always wanted the Mamba Tournament version because it has an amazing shape and lighting. But unfortunately, the laser sensor it contains is known to have serious problems, such as: B. the inability to track pixel movements and it is very sensitive to dust and other debris. But last summer, Razer finally gave us the Mamba TE case and lighting, but with a PMW3389 sensor, the same as the Deathadder Elite. The shape is very similar to the Deathadder but the hump isn't as big and the sides are straighter making it easier to grip if you have small hands like mine. I can grasp with my palm and with my claws - excellent. The buttons are Razer Omron mechanical switches rated for 50 million clicks. To be honest these are the best mouse switches I've ever used, they feel tactile and responsive unlike older Razer mice where some would be tactile and others soft. The side buttons have good travel but can make a whirring noise if you press them incorrectly without complaining, although the Logitech G403 and G703 share the same problem. The scroll wheel doesn't dangle like on previous examples of this mouse, it's very tight but works. It also tilts left and right. The DPI buttons are the same as the Deathadder Elite. The sensor is PMW3389, currently the best optical sensor on the market. And it's really playable. No spin outs, it tracks perfect pixel movements and has no acceleration. Perfect. The lighting is BEAUTIFUL! In fact, it's even better than the Mamba Tournament Edition, with more customizable lighting zones. Now the software is a headache. Razer Synapse 3 is known to be buggy, but I haven't had any performance issues. What annoys me is how I was forced to use an account with it and how I was forced to only use it to adjust mouse settings. It also shows pop-up ads for Razer products from time to time by default, but you can disable that. But I'll be honest, this software is pretty good. You can reprogram buttons, change backlight settings and profiles, recalibrate the sensor, and more. Chroma Studio is great too. You can customize each lighting zone to do whatever you want in terms of lighting, and it's very easy to create your own custom and advanced lighting effects. Overall, I highly recommend this mouse and I'm happy to see Razer upping their game. They took the mouse that so many liked because of the LEDs and ended up giving us more options for the LEDs and the top sensor. Hurry up to buy this mouse!
