Due to the impending power outage in California, I found it necessary to purchase emergency lighting and a radio for my home. A key feature will be a large battery that can be charged via USB, solar power and an old-fashioned hand crank. A large battery increases the time it takes to charge. The sleek design with no protrusions makes the device compact and easy to store and carry. The flashlight's beam is strong, the radio's speaker is loud and clear, and the NOAA distress weather alert is eye-catching, although I didn't get a chance to test it in extreme conditions. There are multiple colors available and I chose light green to match the emergency light I previously purchased. Revain included a discount coupon so I felt it was a worthwhile investment.
