My son is 5 and wears a 3T. Yes you've read correctly. I ordered size 3-4 and it's too big for him but luckily we got them right when the weather turned cold so they will fit him next year. These are normal shorts for the game. The material is thin, the gray is thinner and more translucent when held up to the light, and the black is thicker. The elastic is thick and should hold up. The bracelet has a tag with space for a name and phone number. The seams are sewn evenly, do not chafe or scratch. They appear to be well made and I could not find any manufacturing defects. These shorts are made in China and are 100% cotton. They shrink a little with washing, but not enough to affect size. Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
