I like the Micro Four Thirds system for its smaller and lighter lenses (and therefore more convenient and portable) than other systems. And this is by far my favorite camera body out of all the cameras I've used, micro 4/3, film, APS-C or whatever. Unfortunately it didn't get the updated shutter mechanism in time, but that's not a problem with most lenses and the form factor, controls and viewfinder are mostly perfect. Even today, almost 3 years after the release, I can't decide which camera body I would prefer to this one.
