made the bed with this set today and I am impressed with the value for money. Even at discount stores, you'll spend twice as much and may end up with lower quality items. The pillowcases are light but soft to the touch and appear to be very well tailored. A full size duvet covers the bed, although I wish it was a little longer on each side. The set smells new, almost fresh. I use this duvet with a flat Primaloft down alternative so you don't get the same plush thickness as down. but for the price this kit is sewn well (straight/no stray threads) and the live colors are even better. it's a relatively thin material, but that's why I wear it now - from winter to spring/summer. The pillowcases are plain, with a straight edge with no fringes or embellishments, but have a pocket to keep the pillow in place. and the comforter has more buttons to hold the comforter in place than any of my other more expensive comforters. I hope they wash as well as they look/feel but I will update the review after care and feeding. but the fact that they have 2 sides for a fancier look puts this brand on my radar for future bedding needs.
