hello, having just bought a smoker I needed a second backup temperature sensor in case my main sensor doesn't work or has problems. I really like the 2 in 1 feature. The probe will come in handy as long as I can close the door and get a much more detailed reading. it is easy to read and fairly accurate. The hanging hole at the end is also nice to just pierce the meat with your finger, pour the hole and pull it out easily. A large display and magnet are also good. very easy to calibrate. It's all packed in a nice box and I'm going to buy another one and maybe some more compartments for Christmas presents. I love that they are reasonably priced and have great reviews and a 4.5+ star rating! So if you are looking for a replacement or even main temperature sensor, look no further. this swings.
