The jacket arrived last week and I was dying to try it on even though it wasn't winter yet. The jacket has a pleasant and soft feel thanks to high-quality fleece. It left no fuzzy patches when I tried it on without a prewash. This is a good indicator of the quality of the wool. The hood can be detached from the jacket by unzipping it. The top of the jacket is made of thick waterproof material. This jacket keeps the water out and protects you from the wind. I particularly like the fact that there is a cell phone pocket inside. Most women's jackets do not have inner pockets. I'm short and the length is mid-thigh. I went up in size because I like to layer up so I can move freely. I'm sure this jacket will keep me dry and warm in winter and snowy days. I ordered the black camo jacket for a change and I love how it looks on me.
