Review on Waterpik Powerflosser Regular Replacement FT 01 by Emily Wilson

I was forced to look for an alternative to dental floss when I had 9 rings around crowns on my teeth to attach braces to. The rings prevent the floss from breaking the threads in any way, and it's difficult to pull out any bits it's clinging to. Anyway, I found this flosser system and bought it here along with replacement tips. I also took a whitening consultation pack. I can't imagine how this will add whitening material to your mouth, gums or teeth. So I don't think they do. Don't buy a product that costs more than what's being sold or sell it as more whitening for a lot of money. A cheaper tool will come with both types of tips, so buy a cheaper cordless tool and get the tips separately if you want. Otherwise I would only recommend both after about 4 months or longer use and the standard tool. They can strain sensitive gums. So if your braces or teeth are having issues, this may not be for you. But I find it works right between two teeth most of the time and does a great job of cleaning between teeth and isn't too harsh as it's slightly flexible but still somewhat hard plastic like a pickaxe. I also use picks on a daily basis with other types of teeth, including those with rubber tips that you just slide between your teeth. I like them very much, but they are very expensive. As do the super flat picks, which I also like because they allow me to keep my teeth free of calcium deposits. Overall, I'd recommend this as a fairly inexpensive tool if you can't floss properly. Some people say that the tips don't stay on the device, but there is a hint. There is a very slight indentation, like a tiny square notch, that stays in one position and then the tips won't come loose, but if you put them on backwards they will. I'll go back to good old floss once my hardware is off my teeth, but I'm so thankful I found it.
