yet impressive. Suitable for code readers and scanners

*update* Imperfections will become apparent after use on many different vehicles. The biggest problem is the screen reflection, which is really bad. The menus are navigable once you figure out how they're laid out, but they share the same functionality across almost all subsections, making it hard to tell the differences in each section at times. . There is no "tab" or anything to let you know what partition you are in. So if you change from ECU to TCU, for example, it is easy to forget which module you are in. Functionally, it's really nice. Overall, I'd say this is a great device for the top-notch home mechanic. There are a few things I would like, e.g. B. firing in individual cylinders, as injectors do. In order to update the firmware it needs to be connected to the car and have active wifi which is a nuisance as my wifi reception is poor at my shop. It's supposed to have a firmware update from the wall outlet, but mine doesn't. After reading the leaflet in the box about the free battery tester after reviewing it, I was very disappointed when the company kept asking me to complete my task of providing information before posting the 2nd answer to a Email them do something I asked for more information in the form of screenshots this time and walked away from it. It's not worth the "$50 battery tester" because of the trouble they kept giving me. I would recommend this device to others but I don't feel like it's worth what I paid for. I think 500โ‚ฌ is reasonable for a new one. Not cheap, but packed with features. very impressed with it. The only downsides I see are the terrible screen glare and you have to exit the section and reselect the vehicle you are working on to test a different section. The auto scan feature makes it more annoying than anything. I'm still very glad I got it. not something I would recommend for your average handyman. Training is definitely required to make full use of it. As a former auto mechanic, this is perfect for my needs.
