Misleading 1 star rating.

Thought I would clarify the only review. The one star rating says the pipe is not suitable for 1/2" PEX. This valve is designed to expand 1/2" PEX. You will need to use a special ring and expansion tool, after which the pipe will open up the fitting is put on and closed. This man simply bought valves that did not match the type of pipe in his house. The photo shows an example of what the ring and pipe will look like after installation.

Pros
