We need to talk. for pipes and hoses

This thing was a waste of money. My intention was to be able to water all my houseplants without having to constantly refill the watering can. However, this thing can't even withstand the pressure of my sink. Even with the valves fully open, it still starts. On the rare occasions it stays on, it flows like crazy. My faucet is similar to those listed which this product should be compatible with but no it will not. Don't waste your money on it.

Perfect fit for my threadless faucet

My kitchen faucet has a decorative bell top that cannot be removed and as I rent I cannot replace it. I have multiple aquariums so I wanted to use the Python system to change the water but couldn't because the decorative end of my faucet is unthreaded. This solved the problem perfectly. It fits snugly over the end of the faucet and seals well. It might be a bit hard but I think if it was a bit lighter it wouldn't seal properly. It does exactly what I need and I've had no problems with it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Explodes in the first 5 seconds

We opened the package and put it on the tap, turned on the water. After 1 second, the metal part with the filaments flew away several meters. We attached it with a ribbon to secure it, then the top part slid right off the peg. We collared the top and turned on the water, the midsection swelled to the size of a baseball. We then disconnected the trailer and ran about 75 feet of tubing (probably 5/8 inch ID) and it flared out again. We ended up having to turn the valve very low to reduce flow and

Cannot be used with any fasteners at all.

This review only relates to the product. The seller was fine - no problems, fast delivery. Also note that I considered this a buyer's fault and did not attempt to contact the seller for a refund. Well to be honest the description (towards the end) says you should leave the ending open as the thing cannot be used under pressure. That being said, I still don't feel bad about giving it only ONE star as this limitation renders this connector/adapter completely useless unless you ONLY connect it to…

Pros
  • Permanent test results

  • Everything OK

GARBAGE! GARBAGE! GARBAGE! GARBAGE! GARBAGE! GARBAGE!

I was hoping that it would work, but alas, NO! Forget the fact that it only stays attached to the faucet when you're barely, I mean hardly, pouring water. If you find a middle point (i.e. contain 5%), the rubber itself will have holes from which water will squirt. I connected it to the faucet and turned it on, np. Remained without problems. So I connected a hose to it and turned the water up to about 10% and it came out of the faucet and water came out EVERYWHERE! I plugged it back in and…
