My only complaint about them is that they are very stiff and need a break in period to loosen up and wear comfortably. The whistle is loud, the compass works, there are lighters. If you don't mind wearing them in your daily life to loosen them up and make them more comfortable, I highly recommend them. Drag them down to the smallest size so they fit relatively snugly, but they're still loose fitting. If you're shorter than me or a woman, they might just slide off you, even on the lowest setting. If you're a big guy, you shouldn't "have no problem with them."
