Works fine but DO NOT click tensioner

I recently purchased this machine and have driven it about 50 miles. I can confirm that it works as expected and I find it to be a well balanced and relatively heavy device. I can't compare it to competing devices like the Wahoo Kickr Snap that I tried to find for the same price, but Wahoo products are sold out everywhere. Cock the device with the yellow button. I realized that if I turned the knob until it loosened (clicked) it would DEFINITELY be too tight and would damage my tire or wheel and/or bend the tensioner. So I just tightened it up until my tire had a small dent and everything worked fine. Note that I am using my regular street tires inflated to 115psi, not "training" tires. Also note that I am NOT a 1500w rider (which the trainer should be able to do), but then again 99% of riders are. I suspect I can continue tightening the unit without damage if my tire slips, but I haven't noticed any slippage on short sprints of 700w+ with relatively little pressure/bumps on my rear tire. The assembly instructions are quite good. . I had to tweak some parts a little to get them to fit properly, but with a little patience I got it all together. I had no problems calibrating with the Saris app. The guide isn't 100% clear in this regard, but I found the Saris app much easier than using the Rouvy app to calibrate. It takes less than 30 seconds to complete. Before using it with Zwift, you must calibrate the device using the Saris or Rouvy app. I've done one trip with Rouvy and two trips with Zwift. My first impression is that Zwift is more intuitive (and I found it more engaging despite being in an imaginary world), while Rouvy is much more photorealistic. I personally found the hills too challenging for my current Ruwi fitness level (i.e. 500W + long climbs). Overall, this trainer seems to do what it's advertised to do. ?
