Two words - ROTT. FISHES. When cleaning up after the death of a loved one, no one bothered to empty the fridge, and fresh salmon sat in the bottom drawers. OMG, it was literally a run out of the room before you lose your lunch on the floor situation. It was terrible. And they were there about six months. It was absolutely unbearable. Baking soda doesn't leave a dent. There was no doubt we would have to throw out the entire fridge and it was practically new. On a whim we decided to ditch the obnoxious drawers (didn't even start cleaning them), wipe out the fridge (stifling for now. Can't tell how much the hustle lasted.) and at least these give deodorants a shot, to save $1,200.00 less than a 2 year old refrigerator. In the worst case, we have no deodorant expenditure. And OMG - YOU DID IT. The smell is GONE. Not "much less, but you still smell", not "smudge perfume and make it worse". absolutely PASSED. These little wonder boxes saved an irrecoverable refrigerator from an early death and us from having to buy a new one to replace it. We ordered new bottom drawers and they are now back in daily use. I waited until we saw how they were going to work to comment, thinking I couldn't judge something that was awful to begin with, "rotting dead carcass", but I can and will be back, and I will will be back to find out more. Set the baking soda aside, I have them on hand and in my fridge while they make them. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.
