Just received these so we can see how long they last - but so far I love the feel and fit of the sleeves. I don't have specific heel pain, but I have wide/flat feet with very narrow heels, so most if not all closed-toe shoes for me are loose at the back. My previous methods have been compression socks worn under regular socks, or running socks with an extra tongue/heel pad to take up extra room for me on the back of the shoe (along with any choice of heel pad/sticker). These new gel pads give me an extra tool to fix my heel issues. I've tried a set of attachments in lace up sandals/gladiators and flats and they really helped take up some of the extra space. and also cushion my Achilles heel from rubbing and blisters. It's best to use a nylon sock or light sock to keep the sleeve snug against the leg (and it helps hide the gel better) but for me the sleeves actually fit very well and don't have any gaps even without socks on the legs. I haven't had any sleeve slippage in the shoes I've tried (maybe the socks help with that, or maybe the special liners in these shoes), although I also have to see how hot/sweaty the gels can get longer. how long they are worn. Also, it's great to have 2 pairs in a pack from the seller :) Let's see if I can get my elderly mum to try another pair to help with her cracked heels.
