It was good. Wouldn't buy again

Spigen is one of the best case manufacturers we know, but unfortunately they didn't strike. The housing gets dirty very quickly and is difficult to clean. Dust, cat hair, and lint can easily get under the transparent part of the case, and you just can't clean everything. The plastic on the back is incredibly easy to scratch and quickly become an eyesore. The corner pieces on the back that come in contact with the table are completely black and have started to bend and wear out. And the front panel around the screen also goes black very quickly. The two stars I gave was because it looks like a solid case. It has protected my phone from 3-4 good falls but that's really all I can say it's good. I've also dropped the phone a few times in the 15+ times I've taken the case off to clean the inside. It's just a mess. I don't know if Spigens is to blame or if it's the transparent case concept. I have now switched my phone to an iPhone X and this time I have decided on a case from a different manufacturer. I'd love to see what Spigen has to offer for the X, but this case has made me weary of the potential build/quality control reduction. Spigen is a great company and I still recommend it to everyone, but not in this case.

Pros
  • Hybrid technology consisting of a TPU bumper with a durable polycarbonate back panel
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
