Review on Mr Coffee Brewing System Pitcher by April Bailey

I have had many teapots but now this is my favorite teapot. The tea carafe is made of glass, more elegant than the large plastic carafes. Now if you're looking for a HUGE amount of tea, you need a bigger machine. Don't confuse my post though - this is not a 'small' brew machine. You can brew loose leaves or tea bags. A paper filter is not required as it is built in. After brewing tea, I immediately rinse it and let it dry. I make sweet tea by brewing three sweet tea bags and adding sugar to the bottom of the pot. I don't put ice in it. Once it's brewed I let it cool a bit and then add water to dissolve the sugar. Then into the fridge! If you want it to chill instantly you need to fill the pitcher with ice and when it's brewed it chills. Another aspect is the space saving on the counter. When I'm not using the machine I can push it to one side of my work station and it doesn't bother me at all - the top closes and doesn't protrude. I love this tea maker. Great price for this product as I have seen similar ones in other stores for $59+.
