Mr Coffee Brewing System Pitcher Review

I really like this kettle and it's a nice improvement over cheap plastic jugs that warp and crack over time. I think it's good that you can put any pot underneath. Even if the pitcher was too high, you could lift the cauldron onto something. The pitcher is thin glass, so I'm careful with it. If you're running the 1st cycle to clean, I still recommend putting ice in the jug so it doesn't get too hot. Mine was insanely hot and I had to let the empty jug cool for a long time. After some reviews I was worried about this purchase. I'm so glad I ignored them and bought them anyway. I have severe back pain and I find it hard to stand by the stove and wait for my tea to be ready the old fashioned way. My first 2 pots of iced tea were awful, cloudy and bitter. I then switched to Luzianne ice tea bags and it was perfect. Maybe my first tea bags were old or something? I like the jug but the lid doesn't fit tight so I have to hold it while pouring from the jug. There is also a hole in the lid to put on while brewing.
