Review on Mr Coffee Brewing System Pitcher by Juan Patel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for iced tea lovers, but read the directions!

Our ice tea system was delivered a few days ago and I have just brewed my eighth pot of tea. One thing I can't stress enough is to read the instructions carefully, otherwise you might be faced with the following like we did: - I think the machine isn't working because you changed the dispenser your tea was placed over Haven't pushed Tank for water - look at the amount of tea being brewed in the pot and wonder why this machine is worth it (requires ice and/or extra water). new kettle. Some thoughts: - We heed another reviewer's warning to take extra care with the jug. Hand wash only, although probably dishwasher safe. - we brew it with 7 individual bags on the strongest setting to achieve our results - we top the brew with some ice, add water to the "ice" line after brewing, then add a few ice cubes while we pour the drink. It turns out a glass of tea that you would get at most restaurants. My initial disappointment was that I thought the liquid as brewed was the finished product. Not true. Thinning requires more ice or water, forcing you to add ice or water to the ice line. Ever since we got it, we've been drinking tea instead of sodas and coffee. I drink it unsweetened and my husband adds sugar to the glass for sweet tea. I added some lemon juice to some batches. As long as it's a goalkeeper. I put off buying it for a few months fearing it would go down the path of our soda flow (use for 2 months and not again). Unlike a soda stream, the fixed cost only applies to tea and is much cheaper than club soda or seltzer. My husband didn't agree with the purchase at first because he only likes to use the cold brew bags. I never bothered to have the necessary patience and it always felt too weak or terribly bitter because the bag had been in the water for so long. He quickly got used to the new machine and the new machine makes excellent tea. The photos show a) it's starting to brew b) how much it's brewing even if it already has ice in it (so I'll add water when it's done) and c) that the color/strength is achieved by adding a few pieces of ice to the glass after the brewing.
