Like little chair condoms
I had knitted chair socks on a kitchen table with 8 chairs. Knitted socks protect the floor well from scratches, but every grain of dust and hair gets tangled on the floor. Knitted socks lose their elasticity over time and begin to fall off. I had these little rubber pads on my chairs for about two months. The chairs slide across the floor as expected and nothing gets caught at the ends. I am officially converted.
