Review on DeltCycle Bike Storage Hoist: Auto-Locking Ceiling Rack & Hooks for Garage, 50 lb Capacity, Kayak Option, Hangers for Garage Ceiling up to 12 Ft by Carolina Whipple

I had to install four of these in the ceiling of my garage. Installation was pretty easy. Raising and lowering the wheels is a bit fiddly, but since I don't have to go to my wheels every day, I can live with that. For example, some of my bikes don't have footrests. So if the bike has front and rear hooks, holding the bike upright and keeping one hand on the rope, you quickly realize that you need two more hands (or a helper). . I've had the bike for about 2 months and no damage. The build quality of the metal parts seems to be satisfactory and the supplied cable is in good condition. I would say the quality of the rope is worse than I was hoping for as it is stretchy and fairly cheap. As I don't need to access my bikes often, this isn't a big deal, but I suspect the rope will need to be replaced if used heavily. By the way, they give you a lot of rope!
