A good wearing before the red bleeding.
They fit my son well and are perfect for his theme party and his Sonic birthday outfit. He was 5 years old and walked like Sonic, he got them very dirty. Luckily they were easy to clean. Unfortunately, the red color has merged with the white stripe, so they'll never look as good as they did the first time. I think they did their job. He still wants to wear them all the time and says they are comfortable.
