Review on πŸ‘œ Etekcity Digital Luggage Scale with Temperature Display: Efficient Travel Companion by Gloria Shaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A simple and efficient scale with some key features

This luggage scale is really handy and useful. We have used our previous scale extensively and this is good but not 5 stars. It comes with a small quarter-size round battery (okay), it's small and relatively easy to use. The instructions don't mention if it has a shutdown timer, but I made sure it turns itself off after a few minutes of inactivity. It says it can show the temperature, but I didn't see that on the initial display and didn't want to press another button to see that (maybe I'll use that later). I've tested 50-pound kettlebells and the result was around 49 pounds, so it looks relatively accurate (important for the 50-pound airline weight limit). The strap is strong and durable. The strap has a hinged clip that slides through the luggage handle and hooks onto the clip at the base of the scale. Works well but I liked our previous one which had a strong plastic clip that clicked into place (was more intuitive and easy to use). The bottom of the handle is flat and plastic, which you'll notice when lifting weights. Our previous one had curves for your fingers and rubber material to make it more comfortable. It's good and worth the money, but it's not the best we've used.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Something different
