Great gaming monitor - HDR is a bit oversaturated - KVM is good but not perfect

Wanted to get in on the action of a gaming monitor with a high refresh rate monitor. I had a hard time deciding between different models that cost under $800. I wanted a G-Sync Ultra but the price ruled it out so G-Sync compatible was my next choice. What worked for me was the color reproduction, the refresh rate (180Hz and 100Hz for HDMI) and the final boost was KVM. I installed it on my wife's desk to replace a Dell U3417w so she could use it for work while I played at the weekend. KVM helped save cables when she connected her work laptop via USB-C for key/mouse/video/USB. It all works great and does what I need with a few caveats or things I noticed: 1. The HDR settings look a little too saturated - reds and oranges for sure. I played with the Windows 10 slider and moved it far to the left to reduce the HDR brightness. At medium or right settings, it looks really strong. The oranges remind me of the 2021 World Series when TBS streamed the Astros game in HDR via their app and the Astros orange looked insanely bright and saturated. KVM works, but you have to manually switch USB control between USB-B and Type-C each time. I don't think it's much worse than manual KVM if you press a key or key, but I have a Dell that has KVM built in, and it automatically switches with the video signal. Again, not the end of the world, but something that wasn't clear in the manual beforehand. It would be nice to know that I had to do it manually.3. Only two USB ports. Again, I knew this was happening, but I feel like it's a limitation. At $799 it would be nice to have four. Again, my Dell with KVM has at least four USB ports that work with KVM. The screen is of high quality and the picture is beautiful. I played at 180Hz and enjoyed it. It wasn't as drastic a change as my friends made it out to be, but it could only be me. If you're considering this monitor for its KVM and don't need it for a high refresh rate, you should definitely check out a Dell monitor. Also, another issue that isn't a monitor bug, but my wife's HP Z book via USB C has a really annoying problem. The screen goes black for a second or two when opening emails from Outlook (Pro Office) when the emails are launched and displayed on this monitor. So strange. Sometimes it happens in Excel but always when opening emails from Outlook. Put outlook on laptop screen and open it there and no black flashing screen. Again, I attribute this to the laptop and its USB-C port, when connected to a monitor via HDMI it doesn't happen, but I bought it as a KVM and the laptop seems to be the weak point here. Much luck.
