Wanted to get in on the action of a gaming monitor with a high refresh rate monitor. I had a hard time deciding between different models that cost under $800. I wanted a G-Sync Ultra but the price ruled it out so G-Sync compatible was my next choice. I use this on both my M1 Pro Macbook Pro and my gaming desktop. For gaming, it's a solid performer and has a robust feature set. The 180Hz refresh rate is a handle, the response time is really good, and one feature that nobody seems to be talking about is the dimmable ELMB SYNC backlight strobe (there's also a regular ELMB for those with a fixed refresh rate)! I've been watching this for a long time. I preferred ASUS over Acer X34 GS which is basically the same monitor as this one. I am satisfied with most properties such as color, response time, HDR (but only 400). But I can't use it with HDR enabled or USB-C connected to high-bandwidth USB. Great monitor so far. It's been amazing for about two months, worked fine in the mornings, been out all day, went back to the crap pictured. Customer service was difficult but this time much more brutal as you had to pull teeth just to get an RMA number. Then they assure that it is user-caused damage, with no clear cracks on the screen. I'm thinking of getting one for our other PC, the curve is perfect for gaming and the deep black makes it great for gaming and movies. I looked at many options and for $800 I am very impressed.

It was up and running for about 3 weeks and then I had to return it because it had a red line down the middle and then wouldn't turn on. About a month and a half have now passed since the exchange and today, after restarting the computer, the image has disappeared again. I used it with HDMI, I tried dp and still nothing. Great monitor. The flex angle is correct and takes some getting used to. It syncs G-Sync and Aura perfectly. I haven't tried a KVM switch yet

After 3 months of ownership the screen started having incredibly bad afterimage issues. If my desktop stayed static for just 10-15 minutes, my desktop and its icons would be visible when I open other applications. I've also experienced a display reset or color profile change on boot. This would result in a drastic change in colors and contrast every time the monitor was turned on. Within 3 months of operation the display looked exceptional and was on par with most LG IPS panels. I'm switching from a 27" Asus non-gaming monitor running at 60Hz. This monitor connects easily at 144Hz at a resolution of 3440 x 1440. Playing Apex Legends at peak power at 3090 is really smooth. I love this monitor. if you have a stronger graphics card, you need this monitor. Brightness seems better and I didn't notice any difference in smoothness. Some things like banners were missing from Apex Legends, which others have also complained about. I haven't tried the KVM option yet.

The screen resolution was much smaller than that of the Mac Retina display. Day and night. I bought an LG monitor for 4 times the price - I use it for the office - not for gaming. I give it back - you get what you pay for.

I bought it based on reviews saying it's a very good gaming monitor, but when I looked at it, it also looked like it had great features for business use: spreadsheet, word display, etc. That's right the one i wanted to use pro. So I bought it instead of higher rated business screens. That was great. Very happy with it. good screen Very bright. Has speakers. I recommend it

This monitor is great. You used to have a max of 100 OC, that's 144 natively, you can OC higher, but I don't feel the need for it. The colors are as crisp as the Predator I had before. worth $$
