Glad you know the limits. KVM and USB-C are poorly implemented, cables are cumbersome.

I use this on both my M1 Pro Macbook Pro and my gaming desktop. For gaming, it's a solid performer and has a robust feature set. There are issues when using it on a Mac (it keeps turning on adaptive sync automatically, resulting in black screens and flickering. Also, it runs at a maximum of 60Hz on USB-C on the Mac. The Wired Zone is a nightmare, especially when the monitor is on a table, the connections are vertical in a relatively narrow niche, and high-quality DisplayPort cables are not very flexible in the connector area, so a lot of fiddling when plugging them together.. hopefully nothing to change. The big omission is on of KVM functionality. There are FIVE steps to switch between a USB-C laptop and a DisplayPort+USB-A desktop. As a KVM, there must be ONE button. Other competitors (like Gigabyte) allow users to display AND Switch keyboard/mouse functions with a dedicated button It should have firmware that allows the user to use DisplayPort (or HDMI) + USB-A with a source and USB-C second and then switch between them with one click. The menu says it toggles KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) but it only toggles the USB input. Finally, the USB Type-C performance is weak at 18W. It charges phones (why would you plug it into your phone?) or very basic tablets, but even the current iPad Air comes with a 20W charger (although it runs faster at 30W) and every laptop needs more. A basic USB Type-C monitor should start at 65W, while a high-end model should offer up to 96W. If all you want is a curved, ultra-wide, single-input DisplayPort monitor, this is a solid choice. However, they sell it with some bells and whistles and don't market it well.
