Update 6/1/2019: I've decided to try this HD again and. vain. Both are new out of the box and will not install on either of my two Wavlink USB 3.1 docking stations. But the WD BLK I got from Fry works. After taking a closer look at the two hard drives, the MDL and P/N are different from what I got from the store. I bought a 4TB black hard drive a month ago, but it took me a few weeks to get started. I put it in my dock and it started making a weird clumsy noise and wouldn't get in. My original thought must have been damaged in transit. I returned the product and ordered another Black 4TB HD. I install it in my dock and it doesn't work again. While waiting for a new hard drive to arrive (which didn't work), I bought a black 4TB hard drive from a retail store and it fitted my docking stations perfectly. I have two identical hard drive docking stations and have tried both to no avail. A bit disappointing, have to go back. I will not order another hard drive.
