Sealed pack holds 30 caps. When I tried to open the first lid, I immediately ripped it open as there was no indication of where the top was. I tried a second time to be softer and the elastic came loose from the plastic. With the third cap I finally didn't make a single tear anymore and got a functional cap. That was until I put it on my daughter's head. She has a lot of curls on her head that I was trying to deepen and by the time I got to the point of tucking the last few curls into the cap, the elastic had separated from the plastic. These hats are very soft. It takes a surgeon's patience to undo them and wear thick hair. Luckily I have decent technique and lots of lids to use.
