Out of the box they don't tighten properly on the bars. The semi-circular section is too big, too deep, bottomed, and doesn't allow the top and bottom to fit snugly against the bars. I considered sending them back but instead spent an hour filing them so they would hold the bars in place. I'm not sure how much I trust them, but now they seem to be holding the steering wheel properly. The bike is a Zero DS with 1 1/8" handlebars.
