This security system is really easy to use. The cameras are already connected to the receiver, to which a hard drive can be connected. After connecting the power connectors, you will see four cameras on the connected screen, HDMI or VGA. This is a great way to "recycle" our old 19" VGA monitor. This was important to my purchasing decision as most systems only support HDMI. It displays all cameras at once and all are recorded, with a 1TB hard drive installed for several days. The power cords to the cameras are quite long and the night vision works, see image (note this is a temporary placement with blurry image, this is not due to the poor quality of the camera). The system can connect to your router and then send you emails when an alarm is triggered, even if you don't have any apps installed on your phone. The app is easy to set up with Q-Codes displayed on screen and on the device as a printed label. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.
