Anyway, this stuff is great if you're looking for something a little more like contact paper, but I absolutely don't recommend it for a cutter unless you're an absolute expert on yourself or dial thinning , like some of them the other reviewers. written down. The metal layer absolutely has a layer of clear foil but there is a nice mesh on the back so again, great for what looks like contact paper, I've used it to cover some planters and I really like it! It's definitely worth buying, just be absolutely prepared! Also DO NOT remove the foil to make it "easier" to cut with a machine, big mistake! The material is light and the paper it's attached to is pretty darn flimsy. If you do that, everything will shift like crazy during the cutting, and for heaven's sake DO NOT place that paper face down on any gripping mats, it will ruin them.
