I read other reviews. Some say it *is* not* a 4K monitor, others say it *is* a 4K monitor. I'll throw my hat firmly in the ring *NOT 4K*. Using a 2 year old HP Elitebook 850 G6 with the included HP G4 Hub, connected with the included USB-C cable and power adapter. When I then connect to this monitor with the included DisplayPort or HDMI cable and power cord, I can *NOT* get the full 3840 x 2160 resolution. The best I could do was 2550x1600. With the same setup but replaced with a Samsung LU28E590DS/ZA 28" 4K monitor, I was able to *AM* get the full resolution of 3840x2160. I don't think my hardware is the problem. I think the monitor just isn't what he claims to be.
