An excellent 28-inch 4K monitor that alone is better than two separate 27-inch 1920×1080 monitors. The HP monitor itself is bright and crisp and pleasing to the eye.

I have set up many 4k monitors with various Windows 10 PCs. I ordered it because it was advertised with 4K resolution (i.e. 3840 x 2160), but Windows only recognizes the maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600. I've tried all the HDMI inputs and used certified 4K cables, but it only shows 2560x1600 in the Windows display settings. The frame rate is set to 59.97. I read other reviews. Some say it *is* not* a 4K monitor, others say it *is* a 4K monitor. I'll throw my hat firmly in the ring *NOT 4K*. Most of the reviewers below said they couldn't get 4k resolution. The main problem is that your PC/Mac supports 4k resolution and your HDMI adapter/cable supports 4k resolution. I had a problem with my HDMI adapter and couldn't get 4k resolution. As soon as I switched to another I had fantastic 4k resolution.

I bought this monitor as a perpetual display for my iMac. It was said to work with 4k but it just doesn't have Mac drivers. Love the monitor, it works on Windows but I can't get it if you want an external display for a Mac or iMac. I run it at 1080p for the best picture quality, but honestly I could buy an old $99 monitor for it.

If you are looking for a side monitor, this is the worst choice. Even as the primary monitor, 1% angular misalignment results in terrible distortion. There are so many better 4k monitors out there for a few bucks more. Returned 3 seconds after power on.

That's good, but that's an old style of panel and can't be viewed from different angles without distorting the picture. It would be nice if you looked at it directly.

Use it as the bottom monitor on my Mac Mini A/V Workstation. Place the older 2770 at the top for a native 1080P preview and this HP at the bottom for a native 4K preview. The Mac gets along very well with it on my M1 Mini. i love quality

At least 1 review here says this monitor is not 4k. Not true. I have personally run this monitor on a 2016 MacBook at 4k and a Surface Pro 7 at 4k. I sympathize with the misguided reviewer - getting this monitor to work at 4k wasn't easy. I needed a Mac specific cable (anchor) and MS hub for Surface. Love it! I don't play games, so I can't comment on gaming performance. Great monitor for video or photo editing with very accurate color reproduction. Can't compete in price and performance. Three inputs allow use with multiple devices.

I've tried an HP laptop and a Lenovo laptop and they both have black borders at the top and bottom. The maximum resolution is only 2560x1600. I also tried it on a Macbook, there is no black border, but the max resolution is still only 2560x1600. Do not buy this if you are unsure if you can get 4k resolution. I'm back and I wasted my time!

This monitor has no advantages other than the low price. The panel itself appears to be of very poor quality and one of the two started flickering erratically right out of the box. I also had to go through and basically try to calibrate it myself as the colors were all washed out at the factory. I sent it back and recommend not buying it in the first place.

I bought 2 of these and connected them to an HP Z-Book laptop via an HP USB-C/A Dock. Manage both easily in full 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) with clear and crisp results. Setup was straightforward and easy. Very happy with this product.

I would use this monitor for my daily work and dance related to my Switch. Everything was fine until last night when I realized that there is no speaker for this monitor so all I have to do is monitor the image while dancing - quite a hassle I must say. :(

This screen is amazing - I've now bought 4! BUT, make sure your graphics can handle true 4K, most say 4K compatible but only output 1024. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 4K, it really is 3070 but still great!
