Review on Uniden BC340CRS Clock Radio Scanner - 100 Channels (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Travis Flores

I've had a 100 channel Uniden scanner for about a month and a half. This was my first scanner. First of all, I tune it into my city's police broadcast and listen to it when I'm reading or doing other projects. It was educational to have this information and also interesting. I haven't had any problems with it in the time I've had this scanner. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was that I couldn't seem to find any scan types other than police traffic when trying to scan things like air traffic, medical helicopters, etc. However, I'm not ruling out the possibility that these channels might be blocked these days or there might be no reception in the area where I live, but I've had no luck finding other types of scans to listen to. Although I liked that the police could scan with this scanner and I feel safer having access to this information.
