    Uniden 100 Channel Wireless Scanner

Bought for my husband. The scanner is fine. He could program the frequencies. The problem is that I expected it to be new. It wasn't obvious that this was a return. According to the instructions, the box was open. I would like to add that I told Revain what happened, they couldn't replace it but gave me a full refund. Yes Raven!

    the second scanner does not.

As a retired police officer after 30 years of service, the Uniden name is very familiar to me. When I needed a new scanner I couldn't believe the price of $90 for a 100 channel Uniden scanner. Received the unit before it was promised, plugged it in and now have a clear, accurate fire, police and weather scanner again. Thanks again Revin. You never fail.

to make something useless. Without Squelch

The squelch control on this scanner failed after about a year of ownership rendering it unusable. Without noise reduction, it won't scan and is too loud to leave on for any purpose. Do not contact Uniden for service unless the warranty has expired. Repair costs more than replacement. Buy a scanner from another manufacturer.

Uniden BC340CRS 100-channel wireless scanner with clock

This device suits us. If someone wants a much more complex product like Radio Shack's, it might not work for them, but it works great for us and we're very happy with it. We only use the 10 main scan channels plus the local weather channel, which is very useful right now in winter. Goodbye!

    uniden BC340CRS: security and surveillance

Bought for local fire service frequencies and has a weather station. Like most scanners, it must be programmed to local frequencies and a programming manual is a must. I had other scanners and they all took a long time to program and set up. This is great and it was the first time I bought on Amazon with a discount. I've had it reliably for 2 or 3 years. I've been waiting for a review. Thank you to all customers who leave reviews - they help a lot.

Very satisfied works well with radio scanner

I didn't find the scanner as difficult to program as some reviews suggested and I'm not tech savvy at all. But it was precisely because of this feedback that I approached the process very cautiously and methodically, which certainly contributed to my success. so thank you all! This is a simple scanner that I only use for local emergency services (fire, police, medical) so not all channels are used. The squelch doesn't "slip" like my previous scanner, the clarity is perfect, and the volume can…

    Good scanner for the price

I've had a 100 channel Uniden scanner for about a month and a half. This was my first scanner. First of all, I tune it into my city's police broadcast and listen to it when I'm reading or doing other projects. It was educational to have this information and also interesting. I haven't had any problems with it in the time I've had this scanner. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was that I couldn't seem to find any scan types other than police traffic when trying to scan things like…

NOT EASY TO USE. MANUAL STINK. DOES NOT ACCEPT SIGNALS

I received this scanner as a Christmas present and read the reviews that it was easy to set up and use. Well, I have to disagree with these statements. Firstly, he had not received a signal for either the police or the fire brigade. In addition, leadership is not easy. For those who have never had a scanner and know very little about it, it is not easy to set up or use. Forget using it because he never had a chance. Now if you look at the comments from people who said it was easy, this is their

Good scanner for the average listener

I bought this scanner for a co-worker who enjoys listening to radio communications. I paid $89 through Revain and see it's a few dollars less today. Uniden makes good products. I had a programming question and they answered me very quickly and professionally. It's not that difficult to program or use if you already have a scanner. If you are new to scanners, you probably need to read the manual well. As I said, there is really good technical support. This scanner model covers the basics…
