In my opinion, K&N makes the best permanent filters in the business. As I only buy Toyota vehicles this filter is used in the VF2000 cabin filters. I have included photos to show the condition of the product. Unlike other buyers, I was lucky enough to receive it in excellent condition.

The package came quickly as stated. The box was in excellent condition. There was damage in some other reviews. This one was flawless. Both bottles are full and in excellent condition. I'm sure it will clean my filter the same way other kits clean my engine filter. The air freshener has a slight chemical smell. Spray a little touch after drying and it won't smell like that.

I have used this product before on K&N cabin filters in my cars. Filters are great and this product is essential for regular filter cleaning and renewal to keep it working great. Over the life of a car, a K&N filter and air cleaner/freshener can probably save you money over disposable filters, but even at the same or slightly higher cost, they provide much better air purification than most disposable filters.

I used this kit to refill a 2 year old cabin air filter that I received from them a while back. The filter was very dirty and smelled bad. I sprayed a quarter bottle of cleaner on the filter and let it work as instructed. Then I rinsed with a garden shed with a shower head, I recommend using light pressure. The results were amazing. After running the filter for 12 hours it was practically brand new! Saves me time and money. Gotta love k&n products!

hey! I've been writing this review for two years but finally got around to it. I bought this cabin air filter upgrade kit (99-6000) along with another kit (99-5000) and they still do the job. After performing the action for the first time, it will be easier to clean the filters. Just make sure you use the car for a while as you will need to let the filter dry completely. Also, this is a great product that has saved me tons of money. Great job K&N! Keep it up!

You need to figure out where the filter is and for each car it can take up to 1/2 hour or you might have to pay someone to show you the first time but I have a Lasso F150 and can take the filter out, clean it, spray it with a cleaning spray in about 10 minutes and put it back in 45-50 minutes and that makes a huge difference. It reduces dust and odor, especially if you smoke, which I don't smoke, so I don't know how well it handles smoke, but I think it's pretty good, great stuff.

This kit cleans the cabin filter really well. Please note that this kit is the only kit that can successfully clean the K&N cabin air filter. Your engine air filter set does not fit.
