Review on Bose Soundbar Wall Bracket White by Jared Bradford

UPDATE (September 15, 2020): After contacting Bose Technical Support via SMS (I do not recommend this method - inconsistent, slow response), I was confident that that this mount was compatible. However, the agent didn't tell me that I needed to remove the two "rubber feet" on the bottom of the soundbar to reveal the threaded mounting screw slots. After figuring it out myself, I was able to mount the soundbar using the included mounting hardware. For this reason I have upgraded my rating for this product from one star to two stars. My rating remains low, not because of the craftsmanship of this product, it is a wonderful product made from quality materials. My score remains low due to the cost and lack of clear instructions that came with the product. In terms of cost, it's such a simple product with such basic parts that it's no doubt very easy to design and manufacture. In my opinion, Bose uses its brand awareness and craftsmanship to charge an exorbitant price for such a simple product. As for poor instructions and incomplete templates, as I said, the instructions that come with this product do not provide detailed information about the model or are model dependent. Also, there are no words to describe each step of the installation process, so you're left to figure it out from the graphics, which aren't all that helpful. The absence of a TV speaker soundbar on the template is unforgivable. If you manufacture a product and advertise it as compatible with one of your other products, it must be included in the template. FIRST REVIEW: This wall mount is supposed to hold a Bose TV Speaker Soundbar. However, when I received mine and opened the package, the template that came with it doesn't show mounting points for the TV speaker soundbar, model specific instructions aren't included or available from Bose, and the mounting plates don't fit either. Screw holes on the TV speaker soundbar. I will be returning this wall mount kit for a refund.
