Review on 🚲 Adjustable Balance Buddy by Andy Jolley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is amazing stuff!

My little ones were riding bikes when we first tried the stuff! This is genius! We literally spent the summer trying to get them to ride without training wheels. even the last few years with my senior. They do a great job with the Strider and then everyone gets scared when we take the training wheels off their big bikes. One of my toddlers was very reluctant and avoided studying for the past 2 years. We would try and the experience would end in tears every time it felt shaky. There were so many doubts and fears every time we offered to train together. That grip extension gave him the confidence to feel more stable, which gave him the confidence to do it. The only look on his face when he saw his video was that it was THE BEST. He felt balanced at a certain speed while my husband could easily chase after him. Best of all, it was easier for her not to know when he let go, when they balanced. The fear grew every time they felt my husband and I let go of their shirt. My youngest picked it up in 10 minutes! It was great! Don't be shy, just get it. Another big bonus was that it really helped my husband who has terrible back problems. This made it easy to run after them in an upright position. He could easily grab them by the handle there if they were off balance. We also avoided falling on them together when they lost their balance. It was difficult to avoid her fall by jumping over her quickly and painfully (if it was a big fall). It's harder to hold a 6-year-old by the shirt or the back of the seat, but it's MUCH EASIER with this tool! This made the children feel safe and stable. It only helped by leaps and bounds as they tried to trust themselves while still having enough speed to keep their balance while we held them down. We are literally very impressed with the product. All I can do is wish I had had this thing 2 years ago. The only minor issue was that the handle on their bikes would not engage until we removed the plastic safety cover from the chain on their bikes. This made their legs fat. However, this does not violate the terms of the contract. Either way, they don't require a bath after cycling and are easy to put back on when fully ready to ride on their own.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
