Review on 🌋 Decorative Lava Lite Lamp - The Original Silver Base Lamp with Yellow Wax in Purple Liquid, 14.5", Yellow/Purple by Daniel Evans

If you are looking for a lava lamp but are afraid to spend money because of the reviews, PLEASE read on! due to all the reviews online stating that the lamp was defective in some way (broken lamp/glass, coil not working etc. which was immediately expected of him. I really appreciate this reviewer and hope this review will help others, worth reading I'm on the fence but really want to I received the package in perfect condition, read the start up guide (please read it!) and set up my lamp with no problem!Since it's cold where I live I had to let the bottle warm up to the ambient temperature of my bedroom before turning on the lamp The lava process takes patience to make it work The rest of the checklist was fine (the coil was placed in the right place, the bottle wasn't cloudy, the bulb was well packaged and intact .) After I switched on the lamp, after about 5 hours the wax started to "rise".. and after a day it works e it flawless. Ambient temperature plays a role for me here. Either too warm or too cold in my bedroom. The instructions state that the lamp works best within a certain temperature range, allowing the bottle to stay warm enough during the day for the wax to melt as it squirts out. I turned off the lamp for 2 days when a cold front was moving near me, making my room colder. The lava never fully settled to the bottom, so it stayed in a "stalagmite" or lumpy shape for those 2 days because it wasn't cooling slowly enough. I left it running for 3 days after that, turning it on and off as instructed in the instructions, but it never completely melted the wax. I've researched what I could do to fix this, but since my coil was where it should be I couldn't find any help online. (The last photo is an example of this problem.) I decided to take a risk and bring some water to a boil (almost boiling) and pour the water into a separate large container so I could carefully melt the wax and the bottle without heating the glass could break. This worked quite well, and Lava seems to be working great now! TL:DR - take the plunge and buy this lamp. If the product isn't working properly, customer service is here to fix or even replace your lamp (although I didn't have to contact them) and if you follow the instructions as best as you can, this lamp will work great! Make sure your room is a good temperature and you shouldn't have the same problem as me. If so, just heat the bottle in hot water (e.g. take a bath 😅) and that should solve the problem!
