An internal shield flap protects the entire Garmin screen and flexes as needed when the universal back mount remains on the Garmin. or the bracket can be stored separately. An elastic strap across the inside width of the bag keeps accessories in place. The cover is tight, the zipper closes very tight. The suction port mount on my Garmin fits into the case, although you have to find the right orientation and press down for it to work - no harm; However; I don't use mine - it supposedly falls off. It's hard work and done right. It even seems hard when I zip it up. I hate to think I've carried the last two Garmins in zip bags.
